Ford really made a stylish truck with this generation F-series. There's a power bulge in the hood, plenty of fender flare, and enough bright work to make it a true classic American. We especially like the full-length trim on this Custom Cab. It appears highly original for a great vintage look, and it has a cool red streak that really fits with this truck's more powerful attitude (more on that in a moment.) The polished wheels even follow a similar pattern to what Ford was using on its GT package during this era. The Sahara Beige paint follows the factory color scheme, but the shine it gives today also lets you know it was refreshed later in life. While the total package looks good, this classic is still not afraid of weekend chores. The drop-in bed liner means runs to the hardware store won't hurt this F-100.
Inside is nice mixture of the exterior beige and stylish black. There have been nice efforts to keep this looking good and vintage. That's why the seat has a new cover, the carpeting is fresh, and the dash will make you feel like it's 1966 all over again. Ford's highly stylized steering wheel reminds you that you're always driving a classic, and beyond that, the gauges are like crystal-clear time capsules.
Under the hood, the bold blue block is radiating power from within the dark engine bay. This is a 390 cubic-inch V8, which is a healthy upgrade from stock. Plus, this powerhouse is believed to be freshly rebuilt and bored .30 over. That means it fires up easily, runs smoothly, and gives a authoritative sound out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. Getting this power to the ground is quite easy thanks to the control of the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission and the limited slip rear end. You even have the grip of modern Kumho tires.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.
In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.
In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
