This is a J-code truck, and Ford people know that's important. It means this was built with the big daddy 460 cubic-inch V8. With this kind of lineage, it's great to see that big block displacement and four-barrel carburetor still under the hood. And you'll do more than just talk about the motor. It's presented in an exceptionally fresh condition with the bright blue on the block, valve covers, and air topper. Plus, all those factory decals make this looks like it's fresh from Ford's Louisville plant. It's the kind of presentation you'd expect from a vehicle that has averaged less than 1,600 miles annually over its lifetime. Maintenance was obviously a priority, and you can tell by the condition of everything from the dual exhaust to the twin I-beam front suspension seen in the undercarriage photos. And out on the road, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes combine to make this a great all-around cruiser.
