The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 2 Door Hardtop Fastback with Rangoon Red exterior paint and a black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a factory correct “Z-code” 390 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a 4bbl carburetor, a dual exhaust and the factory Cruise-o-Matic automatic transmission, plus this desirable mid-year classic comes equipped with factory power steering, power disc brakes, dual mirrors with spotlights,  American Racing wheels, and so much more (original  air cleaner, fender skirts, etc.).  This outstanding classic is in tremendous condition as well and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed today!
Equipped w/ Numbers-Matching Drivetrain, Interior & More
This 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback is a rare mid-year build built to amalgamate the new bodystyle for NASCAR Racing.  With 300 factory horsepower under the hood, many consider this example the first true muscle car of the 1960’s as it paved the way for the most popular muscle car of all time, the Ford Mustang.   This particular example originally sold in Arizona and it has been enjoyed by three different lifetime owners as a true survivor- virtually everything is still here from the factory drivetrain to the accessories and the vast majority of the original style interior.  This example shows excellent in person as well with only slight signs of imperfections- most would consider it a really high end driver.
In terms of condition, this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback has a near flawless exterior with excellent body lines, shimmering paint and fantastic chrome.  There are a few blemishes to be found but nothing that detracts from this vehicle overall- the finish looks excellent even up close.  The factory interior is also on a completely different level from what you’d expect in a driver of this caliber with almost no visible signs of aging.
Additionally, the current owner does not believe that the drivetrain has ever been rebuilt and while we can’t certify that statement, we see nothing to make us believe otherwise.  This 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxy 500 Fastback Hardtop has a great feel on the open road with good acceleration and tight handling- it’s as nice of an example as we’ve seen in recent years.  This would make a tremendous addition to any serious collection since it can be enjoyed as-is or fully restored into something special.
A Sensational Investment Opportunity for One Lucky Collector
Overall, this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback is a tremendous performance machine with a gorgeous body and excellent curb appeal.  Given the conservative asking price, there’s simply no way that this prestigious survivor remains available for long.  Come see it for yourself today before it’s back in a private collection forever.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Fairfield, California showroom, give us a call at 707-419-8200, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # F13421 as well.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
