Ford Mustang 1966

General description : GREAT VALUE, C-CODE 289 V8, C4 AUTO, FACTORY COLORS, AGRESSIVE STANCE, RUNS GR8!

This is the 1966 Ford Mustang that offers the best little extras. It has a little extra flare, a little V8 extra power, and in fact, the only extra it doesn't have is extra price.
Springtime Yellow is a nice color to have on a first-gen Mustang. It's bright but not exotic, and so it makes for a standout presentation without having to apply neon hues. This factory-correct color has been given a good respray later in life to continue this appearance. It also makes for a great canvas to showcase all the aggressive upgrades on this coupe – even the tinted windows look great against the yellow. A hood scoop, hood pins, and a large set of side pipes instantly announce this is a custom pony car. Plus, with bright chrome bumpers and upgraded Cragar SS wheels, this one really has a great vintage style.
Inside, the parchment interior is something that doesn't get seen too often, so it's something we all take notice of. And while everything is bright on the seats, door panels, and headliner, the carpet remains black, so it doesn't show signs of dusty shoes. The '66 Mustang's instruments are the ones to have. It combines the sporty three-spoke steering wheel with the upgraded round gauge package from the previous-year's GTs. Plus, you even have an upgraded retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner for the best in cruising tunes.
You're going to love lifting the hood wherever you go. After all, you not only have a freshly painted block, but also plenty of shine from all the polished components like the air topper, valve covers, and Monte Carlo bar. This is Ford's famous 289 cubic-inch motor, and it has been upgraded to deliver on the speedy look of the exterior. The V8 inhales deeply though a Weber four-barrel carburetor. And the headers add more power as it exhales with authority from those thunderous side pipes. Plus, with the three-speed automatic transmission and wide BF Goodrich T/As, it makes it easy to cruise this growling pony all around town.
This is the unique classic that offers you the right extras. So at a price like this, you know you need to hurry if you want to take it home. Call today!!!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
