Ford Mustang GT Convertible 5.0 Liter V8 1990

General description : Description
The 5.0 already has a legendary reputation, and now it's beginning to become a valued classic. That's why it's important to take a closer look at this loaded drop-top 1990 Ford Mustang GT.
A GT convertible in its factory Bright Red always attracts attention. The finish has the right kind of gloss that looks good on sunny days. The value price on this pony car means it leaves room in your budget if you want to upgrade to a true traffic-stopper shine, but right now it's also nice to find a good deal on a drop-top that you won't be afraid to drive. Plus, this one continues to look sharp with the factory GT package that looking clean and complete. Ford gave these plenty of sporty style with the full ground effects body kit, a louvered-style taillight package, rear luggage rack, and cool 15-spoke 15-inch alloy wheel.
The white convertible top is a good color combo against the red exterior, and so that same stylish look continues inside. White side panels, convertible boot cover, and leather seats intertwine with red on the clean dash, center console, and nice carpeting for a well-done look. It's easy for you to get comfortable behind the wheel with buckets seats, a tilt steering column, and a full gauge package. This comes with all the right features you want, like a driver's airbag, power locks, power mirrors, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo featuring Bluetooth. Power windows and a power convertible top mean you never have to leave the driver's seat to get an open-air experience. And the air conditioning was recently serviced, so it blows nice and cold when you're top-down on a sunny day.
The 5.0-liter fuel-injected V8 was the motor that made the pony car the king of this era. This one looks quite stock and well-maintained. The consignor not only believes this is the original motor, but also the original four-speed transmission. So it's a smooth and powerful package that's nice for a little performance fun as well as easy long-distance cruising. Add in power steering, power brakes with disc brakes, wide BF Goodrich T/As, and thick sway bars front & rear, and you've got a great Mustang for all occasions.
A complete and powerful Mustang GT is a beautiful thing, so don't miss your chance at this well-priced drop-top classic. Call now!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
