We have a fantastic Jaguar E-Type 3.8’flat floor’ coupe with welded louvres available. This car was built in October 1961 and exported to New York, the USA where it reached it`s first owner, Mr W L Buck, on the 2nd December 1961. This was the 140th in the production line and therefore the rare ‘flat floor’ coupe. This car is even more exceptional due to the presence of bonnet hood welded louvres, a feature of the early cars. 7 years ago the car underwent a full restoration and mechanical refurbishment in Europe. The process has been photographically documented. The restoration included a particular nice transmission upgrade to a 5 –speed gearbox. The bodywork is great, perfectly straight and true. No expenses were spared during the restoration which included colour-coding the underbody. The interior and chrome work are as good as new. This E-Type possesses her original matching numbers 3.8 engine; as certified by Jaguar Heritage. Finished in her original livery of ‘Opalescent Dark Blue’ with a ‘Light Blue’ interior and aluminium dashboard, she certainly is classy! Not only do we believe that this car represents an interesting investment opportunity, but it also delivers a fantastic driving experience.
