The Jaguar E-Type was Sir William Lyons’ second sensation after the famous XK series. The new E Type offered perfect and modern design, racing technology for the road and was affordable. Its top speed was higher than 220 kilometers an hour. So the Jaguar E Type was an icon from beginning on. The early cars (Flat Floor) were very tight. This offered coupé has already the lowered floor to give a little more space, but it still has the 3.8-litre engine and the clarity and beautiful designed interior with the small toggle switches and the wonderful aluminum center console. In the beginning about 50% of E-Type production were coupés.This Jaguar E-Type FHC was delivered to the USA in 1963. The coupé has been extensively restored a few years ago and is still in a very nice condition. Today it is registered in Germany as an historic vehicle. Because of the extensive restoration this Jaguar impresses with great driving characteristics and performance.
