I love the Jaguar E-types in pretty much any shape or form. Over the years all from Series 1 Roadsters to Jaguar E-type series 3 Coupes. And, at the moment I have also a series 2 E-type Roadster and this very nice 1 ½ Coupe or FHC from 1968. A Jaguar E-type that has the rear tail lights above the bumper, but does not have covered headlights upfront is a Series 1 ½.
Exterior: White is a very nice colour for the Jaguar E-type. It looks perhaps even longer and sleekier than in other colours. The Jaguar was repainted one time many years ago and it still looks very nice today. It does not appear to have had any body work done and still no rust is evident. All chrome details are also the original pieces and they are great.
Interior: For me, stepping in to a classic Jaguar is all about feeling that certain scent these old British cars have from the original slightly worn black leather on the seats. Put on my sunglasses and I feel like a rockstar even if the car is not moving. I do not think I have ever seen a Jaguar E-type that is all original and is so nice and intact on the inside. All instruments are perfect and working. Just like the black dashboard and door panels. In the back, it is also all original and looks like nobody ever even put a suitcase there. A genuine time capsule from the Sixties.

Engine: The Jaguar 4.2l straight six has a wonderful sound. Also, the exhaust note from this particular car is the best I have heard from a 4.2. Gearbox feels nice and tight, and it is easy to find the gears. Final drive has normal sound. The car feels nice and firm on the road. Normal maintenance has been carried out over the years. Going through the documentation, it shows this is a car that has been moving every year.
History: This white Jaguar E-type Coupe was first registered on the 12th of July in 1968. It stayed with the first owner until 1977 when the second owner had the car only for five months before it was passed on to the third owner who kept the car until 2015 when it was passed on to a private in Malmö before finding the present owner a few months later. It comes with a very nice collection of MOT (Technical Control) documents showing the km pretty much every year up until today with just over 100,000km.
Keep in mind that this is an unrestored (except for a repaint) well-maintained car. It was born on the same year as myself and I am jealous of how well it has aged. The original handbook and the very first registration document issued in Sweden in original are included in the documentation. Original items like spare, jack etc. This fantastic E-type is ready for new adventures.
