Finished in possibly the most desirable colour scheme of Artic Blue Metallic with a Magnolia Leather interior piped in blue. Interior wood trim is of highly figured burr walnut in the best of Jaguar traditions. This Jaguar XJS has covered just 70,000 miles from new & more importantly comes to us with a massive service history which is bang up to date. The service book shows 14 service stamps & assorted other more recent service bills come with the car.
All books & keys are present as supplied with the car when new. The tool kit & jack are also in their appointed places in the boot & the car has its original hood cover & bag to stow it in. The car sits on four original lattice alloys shod with nearly new tyres.
The current long term enthusiast owner states: Work carried out during my ownership:
New tyres, Water hoses, replaced Engine oil and filter, replaced Air Filters, replaced All drive belts replaced, New Alternator, New Water Pump, New thermostat, All jockey and idler pulleys and bearings replaced, New A/C condenser, New A/C drier, Re gas A/C, New steering Rack. Regular Serices as required.
The car drives in a simply flawless manner. I had forgotten what a lovely drive a properly maintained XJS V12 is & the drive back from Suffolk reminded me of the silent effortless V12 engine & how supple & poised the suspension is. The power hood glides up & down at the touch of a button assuming one has remembered to apply the handbrake first! The gear changes are imperceptible & the engine utterly silent in operatiom.
A Haynes workshop manual also comes with the car as does the Original Jaguar CD rom. The car has clearly always been garaged & is completely rust free on the body panels. A thick Sheaf of MOT certificates verify the 70k mileage to date.
Simply put: This is an exceptional unmarked example in perfect driving order with every item working as it ought. It is a delight to drive & benefits from a no expenses spared approach to maintenance.
