Model historie en beschrijving:
Uit Zuid Italië, in de buurt van Napels, haalde ik deze zeldzame Lancia 2000 Coupe. Er werden slechts 1400 exemplaren van deze schitterende coupe geproduceerd. De beperkte oplage kwam niet voort uit een gebrek aan schoonheid of kwaliteit, ze waren eenvoudig weg té goed dus erg kostbaar. Zeldzaamheid is een belangrijke voorwaarde bij een gezonde investering. Vanzelfsprekend ook de kwaliteit. Nu zit dat wel goed bij deze Coupe. Was de Lancia bouwkwaliteit destijds al van bijzonder hoog niveau, uiteindelijk kwam ook hier het roest-spook wel eens om de hoek. Gelukkig maakt de recente Italiaanse afkomst dat deze Coupe in goed geconserveerde conditie naar Nederland kwam. Alleen om cosmetische redenen éénmaal nieuw gespoten. Ook het interieur werd met zorg en gevoel voor originaliteit vernieuwd, vanzelfsprekend alleen waar strikt noodzakelijk. De Coupe uit de tweede serie wordt vaak vergeleken met de eveneens door Pininfarina getekende Ferrari 330, met wat verbeeldingskracht uiteraard, en dat is in het geval van de Lancia een groot compliment. De vormgeving van de stoelen, ja zelfs de fraai belijnde hemelbekleding is een aandachtige blik waard. Een en al Italiaanse smaak gecombineerd met zeer doordachte techniek. Het was vooral de hoogstaande techniek en bouwwijze van de 2000 Coupe die de auto productiegewijs onbetaalbaar maakte voor Lancia. En toen klopte Fiat op de poort. U kent de gevolgen..
Uitrusting:
Natuurlijk was er destijds geen rijke optielijst. Luxe zaken als het houten stuur en fraaie matten kreeg u er gewoon bij. Dat mocht ook wel, een Lancia Coupe had een nieuwprijs die nu op het niveau van een BMW 5-serie ligt.
Exterieur:
Wat een lijn, wat een elegantie. Pininfarina op z'n best. Let op de fraai enigszins naar beneden hangende neus en het foutloos aflopende dak in de C stijl. Meesterlijk. Een carrosserie die echt niet te boek staat als de meest roestgevoelige. Toch is het van belang hier op te merken dat deze Coupe roestvrij is. Ook de bodem is mooi geconserveerd en droog. De auto werd om cosmetische redenen eenmaal nieuw gespoten in de originele kleur Grigio Metallizzato, of zo u wilt zilvergrijs. De lak heeft een zeer mooie diepe glans en heeft geen enkele beschadiging. Perfect symmetrisch passend plaatwerk en ook overal goed sluitend. De roestvrijstalen bumpers zijn ook mooi strak en staan mooi recht op de auto. De auto heeft een stijlvolle en originele uitstraling zonder vermeldenswaardige gebreken.
Interieur:
De 2000 Coupe heeft een fraaie kleurcombinatie van exterieur en interieur, waarbinnen dan ook weer smaakvol meerdere kleuren terugkomen. Zie de foto's. De stoelen werden met het originele materiaal en aantal jaren terug nieuw bekleed. De vloerbekleding is origineel en mooi schoon. Het dashboard heeft geen warmtesporen, het stuur en de schakelaars zijn onbeschadigd en functioneren allen naar behoren. De voorzijde van het dashboard waar de meters zich in bevinden is uitgevoerd in echt hout. Zelfs de bekleding van het plafond is hoogwaardig en Italiaans stijlvol.
Motorruimte, kofferruimte, velgen & banden:
De motorruimte is een bijzondere vermelding waard. Alles is volledig origineel zoals het er in 1972 in geschroefd werd. Niet vuil van olieresten, fabrieksplaatjes met nummers keurig aanwezig. Geen roest. Goed lopende motor. De kofferruimte is voorzien van de originele bekleding. Volwaardig reservewiel, gereedschap en krik aanwezig. Ook de dieper gelegen tankrand heeft geen roest van achtergebleven vocht in de kofferruimte. De fraaie originele velgen zijn vrij van parkeerschade en voorzien van goede banden.
Service geschiedenis:
Afkomstig uit een 'droge' landklimaat omgeving in Italië. Gekocht na bemiddeling van een collega in klassieke auto's van de derde eigenaar. Technisch en optisch had de auto geen belangrijke gebreken. Slechts een serieuze onderhoudsbeurt bent u verwijderd van heel veel rijplezier. Deze onderhoudsbeurt is inclusief de huidige verkoopprijs. Origineel instructieboek aanwezig.
