Lincoln Continental 292 CID 4.8L V12 1941

General description : For sale in our Detroit Showroom is this very elegant 1941 Lincoln Continental. The 1941 Lincoln Continental is an extremely rare car with only 850 of these vehicles crafted in a Coupe. The exterior design of this beautiful luxury car is an amazing sight and looks remarkable from any direction that it is viewed from. The front-end design includes a huge amount of chrome with the large bumper and a grill that was used for the 1939 to 1941 model years and based on the design of the Zephyr. From the side view you will notice the massive front fenders and the rear fenders are very large as well and have a molded skirt that covers the entire rear wheels. The rear of the car is beautiful as well with the large chrome bumper and fully enclosed spare tire giving this coupe a very classy look. The interior of this Lincoln is absolutely as beautiful as the exterior with large leather seats and a dashboard that is very unique and elegant and still looks as it looked back in the day it was built. This beautiful Lincoln underwent a full frame off restoration that was managed by the current owner of the car which is the reason the car looks and runs as great as it does. As you look under the hood you will see the attention to detail during the restoration extended to the mechanical parts of the car as well. The massive V12 engine has been fully rebuilt with only 500 miles since the restoration was completed and runs extremely smooth and has plenty of power to move this huge cruiser with ease. This car is an absolute turn-key cruiser that is ready to hit the streets with its new owner arriving in style everywhere that it is taken. About Lincoln
Lincoln, often regarded as more than just an upmarket Ford, has carved its own niche in the automotive world with a rich history and a lineup of distinctive models. Let's take a stroll down the memory lane of Lincoln's story.

Early Beginnings:

Founded in 1917 by Henry Leland, the man behind the Cadillac brand, Lincoln initially started as a luxury automobile company. The brand quickly gained a reputation for its quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The Ford Era:

In 1922, Lincoln was acquired by the Ford Motor Company, and this marked the beginning of a long association. Ford aimed to position Lincoln as its luxury division, competing with other prestigious brands in the market.

Classic Models:

Over the years, Lincoln introduced several iconic models that left a lasting impact on the automotive landscape:

Lincoln Continental: Launched in the 1940s, the Continental became an instant classic. Its elegant design and iconic suicide doors made it a symbol of luxury and sophistication.
Lincoln Town Car: Introduced in the 1980s, the Town Car became synonymous with chauffeur-driven luxury. Its spacious interior and smooth ride made it a favorite among executives and dignitaries.
Lincoln Navigator: The late '90s saw the rise of the SUV craze, and Lincoln was quick to respond with the Navigator. A full-size luxury SUV, the Navigator combined opulence with utility and became a popular choice among affluent families.
