Ter ere van de tiende verjaardag die de Mazda MX-5 mocht vieren werd de 10th Anniversary editie uitgebracht in een oplage van 7500 waarvan dit exemplaar nummer 7049 is. Allen werden uitgevoerd in donkerblauwe metallic lak en een luxe interieur met stoelbekleding in half leder en half suède. Onder de motorkap ligt de bekende 1800 cc krachtbron goed voor 140 pk en aangesloten op een handgeschakelde versnellingsbak met 6 gangen. Het geheel maakt een volbloed roadster met een laag gewicht en achterwielaandrijving maar wel zeer compleet en luxe uitgevoerd.
