MG MGA 1600 Coupé MK1 fully restored, mint condition, only 851 kms drive 1961

General description : This fantastic looking MG A 1600 MK1 Coupé was produced on the 25th April 1960 and shortly thereafter shipped to the USA. This Mark 1 has front disc brakes and a 81 Hp 1600 engine. For more than four years between 2012 and 2015 it underwent a complete body-off restoration and mechanical overhaul. This very professional job was carried out in Holland and the process has been extensively recorded in photo and invoices. After sand blasting the underbody it has been given a black coating. The bodywork is straight with splendid and well-fitting body panels. The precise interior finish, including the roof lining, is as good as new. It has a British Racing Green finish with a tan leather interior trim with green carpets. As mentioned above, amongst others, the engine, gearbox, suspension, instrument panel and loom have been completely overhauled. The chrome details sparkle as if they were new. Since the restoration it has only been driven a further 851 km! Chrome wire wheels and a stainless steel exhaust system have been fitted. This absolutely good as new MG A Coupé is quite a rare find especially in this superb condition! Gallery Aaldering is Europe’s leading Classic Cars specialist since 1975!
