MG MGA 1500 roadster TOP condition, bare-metal restored, restoration re 1956

General description : A beautiful and superbly restored 1956 MG A 1500 MK1 Roadster. Over a four years period, from 2012 to 2015, this car underwent most thorough ‘Bare-Metal’ restoration. A Dutch restoration company carried the restoration out to an exacting standard. The process has been carefully recorded with a complete restoration rapport. This MG is in a superb condition. The bodywork was restored starting form a bare-metal base and is as straight as an arrow. The chassis was sand blasted up to the bare-metal and then stove-enamelled. The body panel fittings are simply perfect and the paintwork as well as all the chrome decorative elements is fantastic. The underbody is as good as new and will withstand any scrutiny. Really everything has either been overhauled or replaced. The engine, gearbox, brakes, the whole of the suspension and the complete instrument panel has been overhauled and the electrical loom has been replaced. It has been finished in Red with a black leather interior trim, black carpets and matching black hood and tonneau. In addition to the above it also has a stainless steel exhaust system, wire wheels and a chrome luggage rack.
