General description :
The MG TD was introduced in January 1950 and was in production until 1953 as the successor to the MG TC. Our car was first registered in 1951 (USA). In 2003 it was imported to and registered in the Netherlands. During the last 14 years the car remained in the possession of the last owner. Some time ago the car was completely restored and overhauled. This with a lot of attention to the original details of the car. There is a ice photographic rapport of the work carried out. The current condition very clearly reflects the good care and attention the car has enjoyed. The paintwork (old English White) and the interior trim (Burgundy Red) are of very high quality, the panel alignment is good, the dashboard is neat and the chassis and undercarriage are straight and of course rust-free. The driving experience of our TD is very good and solid. The 1250 cc engine runs beautifully and the gearbox functions very accurately, ready for another beautiful summer season.
