MG TF Long term ownership, lovely condition 1954

General description : A brilliant 1954 MG TF! From 1963 to 2019 it was owned by one and the same person: Stefan Kromvall. He bought the car whilst still studying and kept it until July 2019. Who keeps a car 56 years these days? The car comes well documented. The original proof of registration and the 1963 purchase order are present. As a nice beside, Kromvall wrote a piece in the Swedish MG club magazine in 2017 about his time with the car. He has also kept a meticulous record of all maintenance and repairs carried out. All in all the MG is very neat for its age. The fine bodywork is correctly aligned and has only sustained a few blemishes. The MG was re-sprayed in 2017. The paintwork is neat. The chassis is sound and rust-free. The interior trim has lost some of its lustre. Whilst the leather has a lovely patina, it would probably be a good idea to reupholster the seats. The carpets are still neat as is the hood, which closes securely. From a mechanical point of view, this MG TF has been very well maintained. The engine has done 80,000 km and had an overhaul in the past. The engine runs well and the gearbox shifts smoothly and has no play. In short, this is a fantastic MG TF that would not need a lot of attention to bring it back to its former glory, not to mention its impeccable provenance.
