With over $100,000 invested in this beauty, we can assure you this is not your average 442. The famed 442 became its own model in 1968, rather than an optional package. This W30 is anything but stock, and it's only had 2 owners in its lifetime. This 442 is powered by a monstrous 540 cu in big block Chevy V8 motor, paired to a 5-speed Doug Nash transmission. Backing this power plant is a 12-bolt Chevrolet rear end with a 4:11 gear ratio. The motor has a 12.5:1 compression ratio. It also has forged pistons, aluminum rods, a 4-bolt main block, a steel crankshaft, squared ported heads, a Weiand intake manifold, and two 650cfm carburetors. This performance car is painted in Sikkens brand red/burgundy color. Inside you will find a well sorted black vinyl interior with a large Autometer odometer and full roll cage. This 442 sits on some deep dish Centerline wheels that are wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro radial tires. There are also wheelie bars in the rear for when you decide to do some spirited driving. This car is fully capable of the performance needed to call for those wheelie bars. All of the little things from the large air scoop, the full roll cage, the massive rear tires, to the wheelie bar all let you know this 442 means business.
