General description : Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this blast from the past. A 1965 Plymouth Barracuda. This was part of the first generation of a car that went on to do amazing things! You could get the 225 slant-6 or upgrade to the 273 CI V8. The 273 engine was made available as an upgraded Commando version with a four-barrel carburetor, 10.5:1 compression, and a more aggressive camshaft, still with solid tappets. These and other upgrades increased the engine's output to 235 bhp (175 kW). New options were introduced for the Barracuda as the competition among pony cars intensified. This car features the 273 CI V8 engine along with a fantastic 4-speed manual transmission. Can you think of a much better combination in this car? The exterior is presented in a vibrant gold color with a beautiful black vinyl interior. Features include an AM/FM radio, spare tire, jack belts, vinyl interior, radial tires and 14” Moonies. You will also find a passenger thermal sound barrio, fire extinguisher, extra set of wheel covers and a steering knob on the steering wheel. This vehicle has never been wrecked, damaged, flood damaged, flood titled, salvage titled or stolen. The car seems to have had 3 owners since it was new and has had minimal restoration work done, simply because it hasn’t been needed. The paint was redone but the age of it is unknown. The car has received new carpet and upholstery, headliner and door panels. The engine was painted. It has had a new chrome gas cap, new seat belts, new muffler new rear seat chromed handle, new alignment, new rear tires and an alignment.
