Plymouth Belvedere 426 CID V8 HEMI 1967

General description : For sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago Showroom is this rare and highly collectable 1967 Plymouth GTX HEMI. This bad boy just went through a complete restoration and is ready for any show with its clean blue paint. Inside the excellent and original B-body, it sports a clean blue vinyl interior with bucket seats and the original dash. An Equus Oil Pressure gauge has been added just to make sure this beast is running at its max ability. It sits on the stock 14-inch Rally Rims. Under the hood lies the legendary Mopar 426 CID HEMI, nicknamed "the Elephant" and rightfully so! When this motor hit the racing market, it was the biggest and most powerful engine of the time. Open the hood and you understand how it got its nickname. "The Elephant" is paired to the original 4 speed manual transmission with 3:54 gears and emits its noise through dual chrome tip exhausts. All this power is transmitted to a Dana-60 rear end. The odometer currently reads 40,877. If you're looking for a beautiful addition for your collection, look no further. Estimated to be one of approximately 45 produced, this 1967 hardtop 4-speed Belvedere is in fantastic condition and truly a grade A investment. A comment from the David Wise report reads: "This is an exceptional example of a restored and very well maintained GTX. I have seen many restorations and this ranks in the top percentage of cars relating to originality and quality restoration."
