Plymouth GTX 1969

General description : 1969 Plymouth GTX Matching Numbers 440 727 Auto 8 3/4 Rear End Correct Colors
Up for sale we have a 1969 Plymouth GTX. This gorgeous Mopar features the factory color combination and the Matching Numbers 440 and Automatic Trans. We will start off with the exterior of this GTX. From first glance you can see the body on it is rock solid with excellent fit of panels. The body lines flow beautifully down the sides and you'll notice it's straight as an arrow as well. Also, all of the gaps at the doors, hood, and trunk are even and symmetrical. This '69 is covered in the Medium Green Metallic, which is the factory option, and has been buffed and polished to a stunning shine that's slick as a ribbon. The Green is accented by the Black and Red Stripe below the trim as well as the Black Stripes on the Performance Hood with the Air Grabber Set up. Both the front and rear bumper are like new and the rest of the chrome and stainless is in excellent condition as well. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15x7 and 15x8 Magnum 500 Wheels with Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '69. On the inside it's also done in the factory color combination with the Medium Green interior flowing perfectly from the exterior color combination. As you can see this is a bucket seat and console car with the Automatic Shifter and the working console lights. Both the front and rear seat covers are in great condition along with the padding. The door panels are also in great condition and feature the wood grain accents that complement the console and dash perfectly. Looking at the dash you can see it all appears to be correct with the factory gauges working and even the original style radio in place. The dash pad is in excellent condition along with headliner, carpet and the seal plates. In the trunk it all looks to be rock solid and has the spare, jack, and trunk mat.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Plymouth. Under the hood it features the matching numbers 440 Engine that's mated to the Matching Numbers 727 Trans that runs back to the 8 ¾” Rear End with around a 3.23 Gear. The 440 Engine is set up with the correct Intake and an Edelbrock Carb. It's dressed in the correct breather for the air grabber hood and the correct style valve covers. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and the turbo style mufflers. When you look under this GTX you can see that all the metal appears to be in phenomenal condition. It looks to have all the original floors with no signs of patches and the frame is excellent condition as well. The suspension is stock and in great condition and it has Drum Brakes on all four corners. Looking at the gas tank it appears to have been replaced and the fuel and brakes lines are in good condition too.
