Plymouth Sport Fury 383 1965

General description : Cruisin Classics would like to introduce to you a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. This 383 cubic inch powered gem has all the guts necessary to keep up with the best of them in both looks and performance. The power top moves up and down without a hitch with a clear rear window and the sound from the dual Flowmasters is unmatched by most. Even the undercarriage is clean and looks quite good for a car from 65. The engine runs great. It is an A383 (1965 383) with a cast date of August 26 of 1965. It has an Edelbrock Carburetor, points ignition and manifolds to supply the Flowmasters. The chrome valve covers and the breather with SUPER COMMANDO 383 displayed proudly, both enhance the esthetics of the engine bay. You will also be impressed by the overall cleanliness of the bay in general. The mileage is N/A. The transmission is an automatic from early 1965 and could possibly be the original. Casting # 2466113. The performance of the transmission works as it should and has a center console shifter. Inside you will find a black bucket seat interior that has stood the test of time. All of the gauges are true to the car other than an aftermarket oil pressure and a Super Tach tachometer mounted in the center console. The console also houses the shifter and a nice, large storage compartment. The chromed 3 spoke, wood ringed steering wheel adds a ton to the look and feel of the interior. The door panels are in awesome condition as well as the back seat. The carpet shows minimal signs of wear but overall in darn good condition. It does have power steering and manual drum brakes. Aftermarket Sanyo Stereo. The red paint is in beautiful, quite respectable condition but not concourse quality. The power top is newer and in good shape. The trim and chrome are also in great shape for its years. The tires and wheels consist of Tiger Paw Tires (225/70R14) and steel, Mopar wheels. All are 14 inch. This is a car to get in, turn the key, put the top down and go. It is a VERY nice car with a ton of attributes. If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff.
