Excellent Driver Quality 1969 Pontiac Firebird Coupe
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1969 Pontiac Firebird 2 Door Coupe with white exterior paint and a very nice blue vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 428 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, a 10-volt rear end and many other performance upgrades.  This muscle car is a real performer on the open roads and it’s priced to find a new home quickly- come see it for yourself today because it’s certainly not going to last!
Beefed Up 428 V-8 w/ Turbo 400 Automatic, 10 Bolt Rear
The current owner of this 1969 Pontiac Firebird took possession three years ago as the 4th in its lifetime and unfortunately, there is not a lot of documentation to tell its story.  We do know that the engine was upgraded to 428 cubic inches for increased horsepower and we can tell you that the performance in this classic muscle car is exceptional.  You can expect great acceleration off the line and at highway speeds plus the build quality to handle all that torque.  Although this muscle car is highly original overall, its mild upgrades are definitely for added performance.
In terms of condition, this 1969 Pontiac Firebird Coupe shows average signs of wear to the exterior for a high end driver with some minor imperfections to be found.  The chrome is in very nice overall condition, however and the exterior paint also has a good shine to it.  You’ll find that the original factory interior is a notch above with only minimal signs of aging throughout- the seating, dashboard and side paneling is also extremely clean for a survivor.  It definitely shows that this muscle car has been cared for at a high level and it really doesn’t need anything to be enjoyed right away.
A Must See!  Priced to Find a New Home Quickly
Overall, this 1969 Pontiac Firebird 2 Door Coupe is a highly desirable muscle car with excellent all-around performance and great curb appeal.  Given that it appears highly original and runs like a champion, this example is an absolute steal at the current asking price.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Benicia, California showroom, give us a call at 707-748-4000, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # B11534 as well.

Position in GM Hierarchy:
Distinct Identity: Pontiac occupied a unique place within GM, known for its performance-oriented vehicles and youthful branding.
Mid-Level Brand: Positioned above Chevrolet but below the more upscale divisions such as Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac, Pontiac aimed to offer affordable yet sporty cars.
History and Notable Models:

Iconic Muscle Car: Considered the first true American muscle car, blending performance and style.
Specifications: V8 engines, powerful performance, and aggressive styling made the GTO immensely popular.
Pontiac Firebird (1967-1981):
Muscle Car and Pony Car: Shared the platform with the Chevrolet Camaro, featuring distinct Pontiac styling cues.
Variants: Offered various models and engine options, including the Trans Am, which gained fame through movies like "Smokey and the Bandit."
Pontiac Grand Prix (1962-2008):
Personal Luxury Car: Initially a full-size car, later transformed into a mid-size model, known for its blend of comfort and performance.

Impact and Legacy:
Performance Image: Pontiac carved a niche for itself by emphasizing performance, sportiness, and innovation, attracting younger and enthusiast drivers.
Marketing Success: Innovative marketing strategies and successful racing endeavors contributed to Pontiac's popularity and brand image.
Cessation of Production: Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and changes in consumer preferences, GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2010, marking the end of its legacy in the automotive industry.
