Description : For sale in our Tampa showroom is this sharp Fontaine Blue 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This GTO will make the ground shake with its 1975 Pontiac 455 bored 0.030 over to 462 cubic inches with 424 horsepower and 9.5 to 1 compression. This monster is fed by a 780 dual feed Holley Carbonator. The engine has been rebuilt professionally by Pro Motion Engines with 20,000 miles since the rebuild. This monster of an engine is mated to a 4-speed Muncie wide ratio transmission complete with a Hurst shifter. That transmission spins the tires through a 3.55 ratio safe-t trac Posi rear end. This GTO also has extras that come with in including a Tri-Power manifold complete with carbs and air cleaners and a set of valve covers. Exhaust gases exit through Hi-Po exhaust manifolds. Cooling this beast is an aluminum radiator that was replaced in 2012

This GTO has been repainted in its original color between 2009 and 2011. The power convertible top includes soft glass in the rear. Rally wheels wrapped in red line tires finish out the exterior look. On the inside the black bucket seats include the center console. The owner has owned the car for 20 years and since moving to Florida has replaced the black carpet with a light blue carpet to help beat the heat down here. The previous black carpet is also included in the sale as well. Interior and exterior extras include paint that was left over from when the car was painted and the black interior carpet that the owner replaced with blue.

Included in purchase is vast documentation including a copy of the window original window sticker and 2 sets of the Pontiac Historical Service. The maintenance history and receipts, a shop manual and a restoration guide as well as the warranty booklet. Options include seat belts, am/fm/cassette radio, spare tire, power steering, posi traction, rally wheels and vinyl interior.
