Well Over $100k Invested in Extreme Quality Resto-Mod
This 1967 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Convertible has been driven a mere 3,200 total miles since it underwent a multi-year, ground-up restoration that upgraded everything from the drivetrain to the suspension to the braking and cooling systems, the exhaust and so much more.  This is a real 242 PHS documented example and everything involved with the restoration was the best that money can buy- this classic will cruise down the highway at 80 MPH while barely cracking 1,800 RPM’s.  It’s also an absolute beast off the line that will smoke tires and tear down the open road when prompted.  The build quality is truly second to none.
Additionally, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Roadster is simply beautiful in person with a nearly flawless interior that’s been tastefully restored to represent the best of old and new.  The parchment interior and dash trim have stayed period correct other than digital gauges and a great aftermarket sound system with upgraded speakers.  The exterior is also excellent with laser-straight body lines and very good exterior paint that really turns  heads.  It’s the most complete build we’ve seen in quite some time and this one is an absolute steal at the current asking price.
Full PHS Documentation on this Steal of a Classic
Overall, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Roadster is an incredible, ultra-powerful muscle car that would easily draw well above the six-figure mark at auction.  There’s already been a lot of interest in this super desirable hot rod so some see it for yourself in person today- it will find a new home quickly at the current asking price.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Fairfield, California showroom, give us a call at 707-419-8200, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # F13422 as well.

Position in GM Hierarchy:
Distinct Identity: Pontiac occupied a unique place within GM, known for its performance-oriented vehicles and youthful branding.
Mid-Level Brand: Positioned above Chevrolet but below the more upscale divisions such as Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac, Pontiac aimed to offer affordable yet sporty cars.
History and Notable Models:
Pontiac GTO (1964-1974):
Iconic Muscle Car: Considered the first true American muscle car, blending performance and style.
Specifications: V8 engines, powerful performance, and aggressive styling made the GTO immensely popular.
Pontiac Firebird (1967-1981):
Muscle Car and Pony Car: Shared the platform with the Chevrolet Camaro, featuring distinct Pontiac styling cues.
Variants: Offered various models and engine options, including the Trans Am, which gained fame through movies like "Smokey and the Bandit."
Pontiac Grand Prix (1962-2008):
Personal Luxury Car: Initially a full-size car, later transformed into a mid-size model, known for its blend of comfort and performance.
Evolution: Over the years, it transitioned from a performance-oriented car to a more luxurious offering.
Pontiac Bonneville (1957-2005):

Impact and Legacy:
Performance Image: Pontiac carved a niche for itself by emphasizing performance, sportiness, and innovation, attracting younger and enthusiast drivers.
Marketing Success: Innovative marketing strategies and successful racing endeavors contributed to Pontiac's popularity and brand image.
Cessation of Production: Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and changes in consumer preferences, GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2010, marking the end of its legacy in the automotive industry.
