Description : Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis is proud to digitally present this Gorgeous 1966 Pontiac GTO.
From the great mind of John DeLorean, we have the vehicle that is credited with popularizing the Muscle Car Era the Pontiac GTO. In 1966 the GTO became a stand-alone model and was also restyled this year, gaining more curvaceous styling with kicked-up fender's lines for a "Coke-Bottle" look.
Before we get ahead of ourselves, lets step back and take this beauty in. She's dressed in a beautiful Silver Metallic Paint with a Black Vinyl Top, shined chrome wraps around her, fog lights inside the grill for that classis 60s Muscle Car look, and sitting on a set of Red Line BF Goodrich tires with 14in wheels.
As STATED by the OWNER; this GTO has only been driven for 66,980 miles and she's been through just one repaint. It was locally purchased from the original owner in Webster Groves, Missouri, making this a 2 OWNER GTO!!! The owner also has the original build sheet, bill of sale, and owner's manual.
Have a seat in the 60's, you'll notice the black Strato bucket with adjustable headrests, the black headliner looks just as amazing, and the walnut veneer trim looks to be in great condition. The steering wheel is all original, along with the working AM Cassette player.
Finally, this GTO is powered by a beast of its time, the 389 CID V8 engine, fed by a 4-barrel carburetor and attached to an automatic transmission.
If you're looking for a true 1960's and a Muscle Car Icon, then look no further! This is the GTO is the way to go!
