Porsche 356 Coupe 1964

General description : This amazing Porsche 356 C we found on the last minute of our trip to the USA and it was not easy to buy this car. An unmolested and very original matching numbers car, two owners from new and original 82.000 miles! No accidents, still 6 Volt, accidentfree and with the original radio. The fittings are excellent, the interior is very nice and original, it even has a beautiful headliner and the optional chromewheels. It runs and drives excellent, the engine sounds healthy and the floors are rustfree. The paint was poor so we stripped it down to bare metal and gave it a perfect paintjob and now it looks stunning!!! The original color was also champagne yellow, so it looks great with a new paint. The engine will get an inspection and some detailing, other wise the car already was in a great shape. An amazing 356 C with a tremendous potential and very hard to find so original!!
History of the car present, Brakes: disc brakes, Dual carburettor, Second owner

About Porsche 356
The Porsche 356 is an iconic sports car that was produced from 1948 to 1965. It is considered to be the first production car to bear the Porsche name and is known for its unique design and exceptional performance.

The 356 was initially designed by Ferdinand Porsche in the late 1940s as a lightweight and nimble sports car that could be used for racing. The first prototypes were built using Volkswagen components, as Porsche was still closely associated with the German automaker at the time. However, the final design of the 356 was a significant departure from the VW Beetle, and featured a sleek, aerodynamic body that was both beautiful and functional.

Over the years, the 356 evolved through several iterations, each of which added new features and improved performance. The early models were powered by a 1.1-liter flat-four engine that produced around 40 horsepower, while later models featured larger engines with up to 130 horsepower.

Despite its humble beginnings, the Porsche 356 quickly became a favorite among driving enthusiasts, both on the road and the racetrack. Its combination of style, performance, and handling made it a true sports car icon, and it helped to establish Porsche as one of the world's leading automakers. Today, the 356 remains a highly sought-after collector's car, with prices that can range from tens of thousands to millions of dollars, depending on the model and condition.
