Zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum der Firma Porsche boten die Zuffenhausener im Spätsommer 1981 Sondermodelle der Fahrzeuge 924, 911 SC und 928S an. Die auf 200 Stück limitierten 911er wurden 130x als Coupe und 70x als Targa gebaut. ( Neupreis Targa: 60.500DM)Die Sondermodelle waren in der Farbe Meteormetallic lackiert. Eine Farbe, die erst im Modelljahr 1984 auf Wunsch geordert werden konnte.
Dieses Sondermodell hat darüber hinaus folgende Ausstattungsdetails serienmäßig: elektrischer Außenspiegel rechts, Mittelkonsole weinrot, Heckscheibenwischer, elektrische Antenne, Lautsprecher, Entstörung, grüne Wärmeschutzverglasung und die LM-Felgen geschmiedet vorne 7Jx15, hinten 8Jx15.
Die Sondermodelle haben eine besondere weinrote Leder-Stoff Innenausstattung.Die Sitzmittelstreifen vorne und hinten, die Türtafeln, die Fondseitenverkleidungen und die Rückwand waren aus rot-silber-gestreiftem Stoff. Das Lederlenkrad und die Dachverkleidung waren in weinrot.Auf den Kopfstützen befand sich die aufgestickte Unterschrift von F. Porsche.
Dieser Wagen wurde im September 1981 in Porsche Zentrum Paderborn ausgeliefert.
Die Porsche Geburtsurkunde ist vorhanden und bestätigt matching numbers.
Im Frühjahr 2017 wurde der Wagen durch uns für ca. 47.700€ überholt. Unter anderem bekam der Wagen einen neuen Lack und die Innenausstattung wurde erneuert.
Die Arbeiten wurden fotografisch dokumentiert.
