If you enjoy a long comfortable cruise and want to feel as if you’re gliding on air while doing so, then this is the vehicle for you. In 1964, it was time for another facelift to the De Ville series, this was a very minor one though. They decided to have a bi-angular grille that formed a V-Shape along both its vertical and horizontal planes. The main horizontal grille bar, now carried itself around the body sides as well. Cadillac continued to rock the classic “tailfins” which so many have become accustomed too, with a new fine-blade design carrying on the tradition. The major change to this year model came in its engine compartment, now sporting a hefty 8-Cyl 429 CID motor,creating approximately 340 HP. Other stand out features to this vehicle include original interior and original paint. The paint is in relatively good shape, except for a few small patina spots scattered randomly without. The interior to this vehicle is gorgeous, including the dash and headliner, amazingly the interior shows very minimal wear, especially considering its age. Also, another cool feature is the addition of Ziebart, which was a brand-new anti-rusting technology, back when this vehicle was released. The owner has recently installed a new fuel-pump and radiator, less than a 100 miles on it since being completed. Finally, when cruising around in this jolly-big-body you’ll need a way to keep cool.
