Two icons come together as this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible has the LT4 heart of a Corvette Grand Sport. And because this special project was a father and son four-year labor of love, you get exceptional fit and finish on this loaded, unique, and A/C-cooled classic.
The first question you're likely to ask is, does this vintage convertible looks as good in person as it does in the pictures? The answer is no...It's better! The car strikes a balance between iconic classic and all-out hot rod, and the paint starts off this impression perfectly. The two-tone blue is exactly the kind of thing offered by the factory in '56, but the metallic element in both hues give it a deep luster like you're spending the day on the ocean. The white folding roof coordinates with this like the crest of the ocean waves. We all know the best shine comes from all that iconic chrome and sweeping stainless trim. The '56 Bel Air had arguably the best trim with the unique sporty spear that ran the full length of the car.
