Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer this sharp 1985 Chevrolet K10 Blazer 4x4. A 1985 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is painted in stunning black, with a 350, a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, replaced custom upholstery, a 2-inch lift, and a cowl hood; should check all of the boxes of a Chevy Squarebody enthusiast. According to the VIN, this Blazer started life with a V-8, but the smaller 305. This original engine was swapped for the more upgrade-friendly 350 CID V-8. The engine is fitted with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, topped with an Edelbrock open element air cleaner. The engine breathes through headers and a 2 1/2-inch dual exhaust system. That engine is mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, according to the owner was recently rebuilt. The engine bay is clean and tidy. Originally, this truck was finished in Indian Bronze with a Bronze hardtop, but the seller opted for this high gloss black finish. The truck was ordered with the YE9 Exterior Decor Package, but most of that equipment has been sacrificed for a less flashy appearance. The wheel arch moldings are all that remains of the package. The hood which originally would have had a hood ornament has been replaced with a cowl hood. Similarly, the grille was replaced by a chrome tube steel piece. The quad headlamps were retained, but the bulbs have been replaced with LEDs. The Service Parts Identification sticker shows that the truck was ordered with the sliding quarter glass and tailgate window, which is reported functional. This Blazer is in Silverado trim, and as a result the interior is well equipped. The seats were reupholstered with replaced vinyl. The front seats are separated by a factory console. In addition to the Silverado equipment, the truck also features a few choice interior options, including the tilt steering column, the folding rear seat, the quartz electric clock and intermittent wipers. Air conditioning was also specified, recently replaced. The AM/FM/cassette player reportedly works well, and the seller notes that the speakers have been replaced. The K10 features power steering. The suspension features a two-inch lift from Superlift, with replaced leaf springs all around, and a replaced set of shocks and a tubular sway bar. The wheels are 15-inch GM Truck Rally wheels with trim rings and center caps, wrapped with 33x12.5x15 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 mud tires, which the seller reports recently replaced. The seller has also provided a Carfax vehicle history report that shows zero accidents.
