Truly Phenomenal 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Corvette 2 Door Convertible with iconic Laguna Blue exterior paint and a black leather interior.  The current owner informs us that you’ll find the factory correct 427 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a new Holley carburetor, an all-new suspension, a new steering box and the matching 4-speed manual transmission.  This incredible example is also equipped with power steering, 4 wheel power disc brakes, power windows, a period correct radio, rare factory headrests, telescoping steering, both the hard top/soft top and so much more.  You must see this amazing classic in person to truly appreciate the overall quality and maintenance levels.
Driven Only 3,000 Miles on Fully Rebuilt Drivetrain
The current owner of this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster has been enjoying it since 2005 and it’s been driven approximately 3,000 miles since the drivetrain has been rebuilt.  At that time, a brand new steering box was also installed along with rebuilding the original master cylinder/brake booster, a new leather interior, a new carburetor and more.  It is also worth noting that most of the original parts and accessories are available if the next owner wants to restore it to bone-stock original in the future.
Additionally, this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is in great physical condition with laser straight body panels and great driver quality paint.  The interior has been restored to literal perfection as well yet still has rare features like the original Teak steering wheel.  With flawless gauges and excellent glass and trim work, this is easily one of the most impressive examples we’ve come across this year.  The engine compartment is equally as impressive with just the right amount of chrome accents.
In terms of performance, you’ll absolutely fall in love with the factory 427, 390 horsepower V-8 motor.  Acceleration is near-instant and this classic muscle car screams down the open road with excellent handling and overall performance.  The upgraded suspension makes this vehicle simply glide down the highway as well, while beautifully handling tight corners and stopping on a dime.  It would be almost impossible to find a higher quality example at this price and we have extensive receipts on file to show how well this ’66 Vette has been cared for.
