You love it when someone invests the right money to build a muscle car just like you would, and this powerful 1965 Chevy II Nova SS is a prime example. A slick red outside and a performance-oriented interior makes for a very nice classic. Underneath the surface beats a strong small block ready to eat the streets.
This hardtop classic makes the right first impression. Novas were available in red, but they never looked this bright. This one has a terrific shine that tells you there was an investment in a modern professional paint application. It really helps to highlight the crisp sheet metal lines that gave these an upscale look and made these compact/lightweight Novas able to stand next to the big boys. But this is a real-deal Super Sport, and so you'll also appreciate the complete and original quality of the bright work and trim. Those Weld Racing wheels are the exact right addition to show some extra flair and signal that there's something special under the hood (more on that in a moment.)
Step inside for a great muscle car world of black and chrome. There was a serious investment here in getting the correct pieces to look fresh. The result is the pattern on the bucket seats are crisp, the door panels are taut & textured, and the carpeting feels fresh. You'll love original pieces like the steering wheel and Super Sport specific center console, but this very cool Nova is far from stock. You know that when you grab the B&M performance shifter and gaze at the full polished gauge panel that's full of large AutoMeter Pro-Comp readouts. It lets your senses know you're in for something special even before you twist the key and hear this one roar.
The engine bay is built for both show and go. It has plenty of shine on components like the Edelbrock ribbed air topper, matching valve covers, intake, and much more. But more than just look great, there's plenty of substance behind the shine. This 350 cubic-inch V8 was fortified and enhanced with Dart Pro heads, a steel crank, Lunati cam, roller rockers, MSD ignition, Edelbrock intake, and a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor. The long tube header package adds even more power as it feeds the thunderous X-pipe dual exhaust – so they will all hear your power superiority. More than just pure power, this one was built to handle out on the streets, too. That's why you have power steering and a large aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The TH350 three-speed automatic transmission feeds a stout 10-inch limited-slip rear end with a 4.11 gears for excellent take-offs. Plus, with disc brakes in the front and traction bars in the rear, you have terrific total control.
