Professionally Built 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback Tribute
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive tribute of a 1966 Ford Mustang GT 2 Door Fastback with white exterior paint and a black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 302 cid V-8 engine (bored .030 over) out of an ’86 Mustang GT under the hood built with Ford Motorsports components such as a roller-cam and lifters, Keith Black pistons, Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, a Holley 670 cfm carburetor, Tri-Y headers and too much more to possibly list.  The factory automatic has also been upgraded to a 5-speed manual transmission and this desirable muscle car also comes with cold air conditioning and American Racing wheels as well.

Multi-Year Restoration at the Highest Possible Levels 
The current owner of this clone of a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback informs us that it underwent a multi-year restoration effort back in 1997-2000 where the entire drivetrain, suspension and other mechanicals were upgraded and customized for enhanced performance.  Out on the open road, the acceleration is very impressive and the handling is excellent- it’s easily one of the more enjoyable examples we’ve test driven this year.  The list of quality components under the hood is almost endless and this no-expense spared build could easily be enjoyed as a high end daily or weekend driver.
When it comes to condition, this tribute of a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback does show a few minor scratches in the otherwise good condition exterior paint.  The body is also in very good condition with nothing to be overly concerned about, but what really impresses is the awesome interior with a Rally Pack and wood steering wheel, plus great vinyl across the seating and door panels.  With a very nicely sorted engine bay, this classic muscle car can be shown anywhere and leave a lasting impression.
