Black interiors always look sharp against red exteriors, and the trim tag tells us this Mustang was born with this ideal color combo. There are nice details, like the fold-down rear seat and working courtesy lights. There is some room for improvement. For example, you have the ultra-desirable Rally Pac there for display, and since it's a worthwhile feature, you may decide to have this tach and clock combo working again. Plus, this already feels like a well-done driver's machine today with the front bucket seats, grippy sports steering wheel, and upgraded Hurst shifter.
The A-code cars added more power to Ford's 289 cubic-inch V8, and this one takes that spirit up a notch. It's a clean-looking motor that's really distinguished with matte black valve covers and red inserts to match the exterior. The V8 inhales deeper with a Demon four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power and authority as headers feed a dual exhaust w/Flowmasters. There's even an aluminum radiator w/electric fan to help keep this package running cool. The four-speed manual transmission gives you firm control over the power and its rumbling soundtrack. And it feels solid out on the road with features like front disc brakes and a modern tread on those classic-style tires.

In Europa führte Ford einige der epischen Rennen und Rallye-Autos der 60er Jahre auf der Grundlage bescheidenen Familie Limousinen; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam und Escort 1600RS mit den ikonischen Cosworth BDA Motoren.
