Austin-Healey 100 . Very early car in stunning condition 1954

Allmän beskrivning : Exterior: This is the Austin Healey in its purest and most beautiful design. As you can see, the car had a complete restoration to a very high standard. It is today in the exact same colour specifications as it was the first time when Baron Olaf Cederstrom drove down the streets of Stockholm back in April 1954. The colour is “Healey ice blue” with blue trim. The restoration of this Austin Healey 100/4 is now 6 years old and still looks stunning. Perfect gaps and very nice paint and chrome. Rolling on painted spoke wheels with Vredestein classic tyres. Brand new full side screens and soft top.

Interior: This Austin Healey 100 for sale comes with dark blue leather inside. The dashboard in these cars is just gorgeous and all instruments are perfect and working as they should. During the restoration completed in 2014, every single piece of this car was put into condition like new including the electric system with a new wiring loom.

1954 Austin Healey 100/4 for sale

Engine: The engine of this Austin Healey 100 for sale was rebuilt in 2003. It was bored, new pistons, bearings gaskets etc. The head was rebuilt with hardened valve seats to be able to handle lead free gasoline. This is the engine that was in the car back in 1954 and it runs perfectly today. The 3-speed gearbox shifts easily and the overdrive works fine. The 90hp Austin Healey engine has a lot of torque and there is no need for any more gears in this car. The engine was completed in 2003, but was not used until the car was completed from restoration in 2014. After the restoration the odometer was reset and the Healey 100/4 has travelled today around 30,00 km. The rear axle ratio is 8.33:1.

History: This 1954 Austin Healey 100 for sale was built on the 28th of January and was delivered to the first owner in April 1954. Fitted with factory equipment: Heater, 12 volts lighting system, Lancegaye windscreen, Wilmot Breeden window lifts. It comes with a certificate of the factory records and is today in the same specifications. The restoration was completed in 2014 and all receipts are collected in a thick binder. The restoration is also documented with pictures along the way. All restoration work has been carried out by a marque and model specialist here in Sweden.
