Imported to Sweden in 1989 from the States by its 4th and last owner, the chairman of the Swedish Austin Healy club. The car not only underwent a full bare metal restoration but also had a 'Denis Welch' upgrade. It has Cosworth pistons, an aluminium racing cylinder head, a racing camshaft, special valves, flywheel, oil cooler and injection. Combined with a 'Denis Welch' 4-gear plus overdrive transmission, the car now produces in excess of 200 PS (197 bhp). When you add, to name but a few items; the upgraded 'Denis Welch’ front and rear suspension, the heavy duty clutch, special 'Wilwood' disc brake system, enlarged brake claws and adjustable brake balance system, light-weight aluminium fuel tank, special fuel pump system, Minilite rims; you truly have an exceptional car that is bound to provide an unrivalled driving experience with a gorgeous throaty exhaust note! Austin-Healey var en brittisk sportbil gör skapats som ett joint venture mellan Austin uppdelningen av British Motor Corporation (BMC) och Donald Healey Motor Company.

Första Healey modell, Healey 100, baserades på Austin A90 Atlantic mekanik och utvecklats av Donald Healey att bygga i egen regi. De avslutade en enda Healey Hundred för 1952 London Motor Show. Leonard Lord, VD för Austin blev så imponerad av den design som en affär vederbörligen slog med Healey och bilen bytte namn till Austin-Healey 100 natten. Austin Healey föddes. 100 härleds i 100-sex, och annorlunda 3000 versioner innan de avslutar produktionen 1968 som den grundläggande designen hade äntligen blivit föråldrade.
