Allmän beskrivning : For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is super clean 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS. This fine example has just 52,652 miles and is in fantastic condition. Recently, a new water pump and new tires were installed. This car has a clean Carfax with no reported accidents, showing just two owners. This SS is powered by a 5.7L, 350 cid LT1 V8 mated to a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission. This LT1 V8 has plenty of power to get you where you’re going in a hurry. This unmodified Impala has been meticulously maintained and taken care of. The 1994-1996 generation impala was essentially a high performance version of the caprice. Interestingly, the Impala SS used the Caprice 9C1 police package as its base and was produced with equipment formerly available only to law enforcement. Such equipment included a sport-tuned suspension with reinforced shocks and springs, a high-capacity reverse-flow cooling system (derived from the Corvette's LT1), four-wheel disc brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, a higher-output electrical system, and other minor mechanical alterations. The SS came with a limited slip differential and 3.08 gear ratio. Features on this car include air conditioning, AM/FM radio, CD player, spare tire, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power seats, power windows, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, keyless entry, power mirrors, driver and passenger airbags, antitheft system, Leather interior, radial tires, and alloy wheels.
