The 1968 Chevelle was the beginning of a new body style where the front fenders received a new tapered look as well as a rounded beltline. The Chevelle needs no introduction and has become one of the most iconic muscle cars of the last several decades. This 13837 VIN Chevelle is a real SS from the factory & has a 396 CID V8 325 HP L35 motor 410 ft lbs of torque . The engine runs very healthy & strong throughout the powerband.. It is paired to a All aluminum 4 Speed Muncie M-21 Close ratio transmission with Hurst Shifer that shifts smoothly and firm. It has a Posi-traction 12-bolt rear diff & spins 3.73 gears in it making the car a real blast to drive. This beautiful ride has Fathom Blue (paint code EE) paint job the goes well with the rally wheels. The high gloss Fathom Blue on the car shows very well and is a favorite color on Chevelles. The bumpers, trim, emblem, glass, & grill are in fantastic condition. The car had a frame off restoration over 20 years ago and still looks like new today and has only a little over 6700 miles since the rebuild. The suspension features upper and lower tubular A Arms and QA1 Adjustable Coil over shock system. It also has Classic Performance power steering and you’ll see the disc brake upgrade on the front wheels of the car to give the car the stopping it needs with that big block up front. The black vinyl interior is in great shape, along with the door panels and head liner. in the car. The carpet is free from any tears or discoloration.
