Here we have a 1988 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. This convertible has 80K original miles on it as documented by the Clean CarFax with no accidents or damage. It has also been NCRS judged and carries a Top Flite award classification. It has a binder full of receipts and history to go along with the Top Flite award! The body on it is in phenomenal condition with all the gaps being even symmetrical. It's covered in the factory Medium Blue Metallic paint that has a gorgeous finish that's slick to the touch. It's accented by the Black convertible top that's in excellent condition as well. It also has the black trim that runs around the entire body which is also like new. All the glass in this Vette is very nice as well with no cracks or chips. The front headlights are working as they should, and all the lights out back are beautiful and working as well. To finish off the looks it's sitting on the original 17” Wheels as it features the Z52 Performance Package.
Next, we will look at the interior. On the inside it's done in the factory light blue color scheme with black accents that compliments the exterior perfectly. You'll notice both seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears to them. The carpet is also in great condition along with the door panels. When you sit down you'll notice it has the power seats that are working as they should along with power windows and power mirrors. Looking at the dash you'll be thoroughly impressed as there are no cracks. It has the factory digital gauges that are working as they should along with the original radio with BOSE system. We can see this Corvette came optioned with Cruise Control along with factory AC. All of the carpet in the back storage area is in great condition as well.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it's powered by the L98 optioned 350 V8 with Tuned Port Injection. Under the hood we can see that everything looks neat and clean. It's clear this car has been very well cared for. It also comes with a binder full of receipts along with a written log of service performed by the previous owner. The 350 is mated to the 4 Speed Automatic with Overdrive transmission and stock rear end with a 2.73 Gear. This Corvette of course has four wheel disc brakes and Power Rack and Pinon Steering with the 13:1 ratio thanks to the Z52 package. The Z52 package also came with the larger radiator to keep it cool along with the Bilstein Gas Shocks upgrades and oil cooler option. When you look at this Corvette you will be thoroughly impressed how solid everything is. The exhaust is original and still retains the correct cats with the only change being to the rear tips.
