Incredible 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car L82 Coupe
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful, eye-catching 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car L82 2 Door Coupe with signature black and grey exterior paint, factory Pace Car badging and a like-new grey leather interior.  You’ll find a 350 cid L82 V-8 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission and this example is very nicely equipped with cold air conditioning, power steering, power four wheel disc brakes, power windows, cruise control, the factory radio, premium factory alloy wheels and so much more.
This incredible 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car has been driven a total of 1,238 lifetime miles and it is in immaculate condition as a legitimate survivor.
Beautifully Maintained w/ a Mere 1,238 Lifetime Miles 
The current owner of this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Coupe informs us that it has remained completely original over the years; this example originally sold in Nevada.  Interestingly enough, these examples were not available in California in 1978 because of smog restrictions, so this very gently driven example didn’t make it to California until 1988 when the current owner purchased it.  He informs us that the 1,238 miles showing on the odometer is the true lifetime mileage and showed us that it was still on its original factory tires.  We did equip new tires to meet California safety standards but the originals will be included as well.
A close inspection of this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Coupe shows immaculate body lines with only the slightest hints of imperfection to the exterior paint.  We do believe that this example was stored indoors throughout it’s life because it could almost pass for a brand new sports car.  For instance, the interior seating was covered in plastic to preserve the pristine appearance and the engine bay is just as immaculate.  This literally could be the cleanest, low mileage survivor on the open market at this time- we have never seen an example this well-cared for across 42+ years.
