With an engine option for every buyer and just as many trim levels it’s no wonder the car was the car to have in 65. This beauty is a great example of why so many people chose the Chevrolet in 65. With the same owner since 1995 you can tell this cream puff drop top has been well taken care of. The white paint is clean and shines up nicely with the all the panels free of rust and bondo I can understand why the consignee is having a hard time giving it up. Under the hood is the original Turbo-fire V8 that gets the big sled down the road with ease. The power glide transmission shifts out nicely and is perfectly matched to the 283. The power top is in excellent condition with no sign of wear it goes perfectly with the car. The wheels have been fitted with the classic rally knock off hubcaps and are a nice touch. The fender skirts fit well and finish off the classic exterior look. Inside the blue vinyl interior is in excellent condition and is even more comfortable than it looks. The split bench makes getting in and out of the back seat a much easier task. These big body Impala’s are becoming harder to find especially ones that haven’t been all chopped up.
