The engine compartment is full of small block chevy that came from the factory with 327 cubic inches. This no-nonsense power plant has the coveted double hump heads, a polished 4-barrel intake and Edlebrock carburetor, H.E.I. ignition and enough cam to have a power band that seems to start about 1,700 RPMs and give it a healthy rumble at idle. The rear differential is a Ford 9 inch that is held in place with a pair of traction bars. This is a real L79 327 and a true 118 super sport Nova.
