This restoration was done with care for the purpose of it being kept and enjoyed by the owner. Since the completion of the restoration in 2005, there has been less than 1,500 miles driven, and it has only been kept in a climate controlled garage. A few rare options include factory cruise control, driver's seat only head rest, rear defrost and rear 3 point seat belts. It is also equipped with Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Air Conditioning! The complete drivetrain is Numbers Matching original to the vehicle. Under the hood sits its Numbers Matching Dodge 383ci 4 Barrel V8 tied to its Numbers Matching A727 Torqueflite 3-Speed automatic transmission and 8 3/4 Rear End. Every part on this car from the mechanical, to the exterior and interior is either new or restored. The brakes, suspension, and steering feels like new. The exterior and interior colors you see on this Charger are the original colors it left the showroom with in 1968. The exterior has been finished in the Original Color of JJ1 Medium Gold Metallic, while the interior has been completely redone in its original color of C6Y Gold Trim.
