Beautiful 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Woody Station Wagon
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Woody 2 Door Station Wagon with maroon exterior paint, simply beautiful original hardwoods and tan leather interior.  You’ll find a fully restored 239 flathead V-8 engine under the hood with Edelbrock aluminum heads, tube headers, 2 single-barrel carburetors, a dual exhaust and a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive.  This outstanding classic was also converted over to a 12V system during it’s complete frame-off restoration back in the 90’s and it’s very nicely equipped with factory options such as a cabin heater, a rear mounted spare tire, dual mirrors, a dash clock, a Ford AM radio and 15” painted wheels with trim rings and whitewall tires.

This 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Woody Station Wagon feels extra special since its model year was one of the last true Woodies.  With a great color combination, very high originality and such a great restoration effort several decades ago, this classic has everything going for it.  You will find a few very minor flaws to the exterior paint but otherwise, this classic is simply gorgeous and has really withstood the test of time.  The fully restored factory hardwoods in particular stand out with beautiful wood grain patterns and everything you’d look for in a prestigious example.
Additionally, this 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Woody Station Wagon is immaculate throughout the whole interior with working gauges and that signature 50’s styling.  The custom leather seating could almost pass for new and everything looks excellent from the door paneling to the miles of carpeting with chrome inserts.  The engine bay has also been finished to show-quality standards to make an instant impression in person.  However, this is not simply a show-stopper because it also offers solid ride quality with very impressive overall acceleration and performance.
