While the Ford's red is bold, an even bolder piece is the big blue block of the 400 cubic-inch V8 in the engine bay. This big displacement motor was professionally rebuilt during the restoration, and today it has less than 1,000 miles on it since completion. So it fires up nicely, and makes a terrific sound out of the new dual exhaust. Not only is this truck powerful, but it's also built to be comfortable. It has Ford's twin I-beam front suspension, power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and front disc brakes, so this truck can maintain its manners the road.
