That was especially the case with American automobiles. The upgrades to this 1956 Fairlane compared to previous models were more than worthwhile. This car has a more powerful engine and is much better looking. Ford Fairlane Sunliner has a 4.8 litre Thunderbird V8 engine attached to a 3-speed automatic. The car looks great in its two-tone red & white livery. The two-tone theme continues unabated inside the car giving this car a lovely cachet. This fully restored car is in great shape. The bodywork is fine. The panelwork is correctly aligned and thin. Thanks to the large engine size this Ford Fairlane Sunliner effortlessly cruises alongside todays traffic and that is not something that can be said of any car from the 50’s. The condition of the hood is good and shuts securely. It is simply impossible not be happy seeing this lovely American. The counters and dashboard are also in wonderful shape and technically this big Ford is nothing less that very good. The engine runs smoothly and the gear change is precise. This is the perfect car to tour around in with the whole family during the summer months.
