Allmän beskrivning : This is how a Ford Mustang Convertible should be! A removable hood, a 5 litre V8 in an ultimate 60’s colour (in this case “Seafoam Green)”. This 1968 built Ford Mustang is not only a lust for the eye to behold, it also has been particularly well maintained. The Marti rapport that came with the car shows that our Mustang came from the San Jose stable. The car was originally ordered in “Seafoam Green” with black vinyl seats. The current finishes are therefore true to its origins. Besides being an automatic the car was ordered with a black electric hood, whitewall tyres and hubcaps, disc brakes with brake assist, power steering, aircon, AM/8 track radio and heat resistant glass. Looking at the photos you will notice that not much has changed in the intervening 52 years. The car has been exceptionally well maintained and has clocked up less than 45,000 miles. The bodywork is in very good shape with nice and thin, correctly aligned body panels. The chassis is also is great shape and completely rust-free. The car was re-sprayed in the past for cosmetic reasons and is still in great condition. The car had a new hood in 2019 which shuts neatly and is, naturally, as good as new. There is a tonneau cover included for those sunny days when the hood is off. The car’s interior is as good as the outside. The seats have recently been re-upholstered in black vinyl. The black carpets too are new. All instruments works properly and the old Am radio has been replaced by a retro modern example. Mechanically the Mustang is in very good health. The 5.0 V8 is in good original condition and runs fantastically well. The automatic and gearstick in centre console both work supplely. Items such as the chassis and brakes are all in very good order. The car paints a true picture. In other words this well maintained, low mileage Ford Mustang Convertible is in top quality condition.
