The Lotus Elise S2 S was released in 2006 to replace the earlier Rover K series models and offered an affordable way into the Lotus brand. The ‘S’ is fitted with a 1.8-litre VVTLi Toyota engine developed by Yamaha that produces 134BHP. This engine offers a sporty but equally incredibly reliable drive making the S the perfect small British sports car. The S alongside the R was the facelift version of the S2 model range which means most notably Probax seats and LED rear lights are fitted.
This particular Elise was sold by ourselves brand new in January 2007 and has been maintained by us to a very high standard ever since. After selling the car to the previous keeper 5 years ago we are now delighted to bring the car back to the market ready for a summer of motoring.
This Lotus is finished in stunning B114 Solar Yellow a beautiful three stage metallic paint with black leather Probax interior. Fitted with a Touring pack this Elise has a full carpet set, front driving lamps, additional insulation, radio and speakers and a media connectivity point. For additional comfort this Elise is also fitted with air-conditioning. The alloy wheels are finished in their original metallic silver with black brake calipers behind. The car is presented in very good condition but does have some small age related chips present.
This Lotus Elise has a fantastic service history with 10 stamps in the booklet. Regular additional maintenance has been completed throughout the cars life including an air-conditioning overhaul. Most recently serviced in February 2022 this Lotus received new tyres and a fresh MOT.
