Absolutely stunning, track and rally ready, European spec, Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI. This is one of only 1,633 genuine and rare Carrera 2.7 MFI`s ever produced. Immediately after the production of the legendary 2.7 RS Touring had stopped in 1973, Porsche produced the Carrera 2.7 MFI series. In many aspects they were equal to the 1973 RS Touring series (M472 models). This rare G-series has the same 210PS (208BHP) 911/83 RS-spec 2.7 MFI engine with mechanical fuel injection. Their weight is exactly the same at 1,075 kg. The car differs in the MFI having the G-series body and being more luxurious than its predecessor. Thanks to MFI, when driving the 2.7 MFI we were mightily impressed by the immediate throttle reaction and glorious exhaust note. This car has been fully restored in the recent past. During this process the decision was made to prepare the car for track and rallying. The professional re-fit includes a Sparco fire extinguisher system that can also be externally activated and also a separate fire extinguisher, bucket seats, 4-point racing harnesses, roll cage, Momo steering wheel, the correct quick release buckles, torsion bar and SS exhaust system. This stunning 2.7 MFI comes with all the appropriate paperwork .It has a FIA/FFSA , FIA classification ‘GTS 27 period: H1 passport. Executed in ‘Continental Orange’ with black leather and cloth trim, black Fuchs rims and black Carrera markings. It has perfect bodywork with straight and tightly fitting panels. The original underbody is pristine and, of course, uncorroded. This 2.7 MFI is a real rarity and gives you the same driving sensation as the legendary Carrera RS for a fraction of the price!
