Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle. This gorgeous Chevelle is a true L65 350 CiD car from the factory and it has been restored to a very high level of quality. This show car has plenty of show & go making it a hit at your next car meet, show, or just cruising down the streets! 1971 was the first year Chevy went from the quad headlights to the dual set up. The car went through a full & complete restoration from the bottom to the top in 2013. The car was painted in a high-quality deep red color that looks stunning in the sunshine. Our pictures do not do this car’s finish justice! Getting into the driver’s seat you will find the new leather interior that is very comfortable and really makes the inside of the car stand out. Although it started its life as a 350 car, this one is now powered by a 496 CiD V8 that is estimated at a 698 HP output. The motor was custom built to customer specs by Marks Racing Engines out of Colorado. No expense was spared in the build and any one who sees this car in person can attest to the quality. The powerhouse V8 is paired to a custom built Turbo-400 that has a gear vendor option with OD that makes the car a 4-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly throughout the gears, also features a Hurst shifter. The engine & trans have less than 600 miles logged onto them since their installation. A nice touch is the billet aluminum pulleys and serpentine belt system. Don't worry about the big block and all that horsepower because the car is outfitted with a custom high performance aluminum radiator with 2 electric high performance fans that is set up for 1000HP capacity, so this car can be driven in traffic all day long while that big block stays cool. The carbon fiber dash inserts with staggered Autometer gauges, billet steering wheel, custom center console, custom kick panels with component speakers, & reclining bucket seats in the front. The fit & finish on this car is very nicely done, this is a show car that is begging for the road! The car sits on 17-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in brand new Falken tires that sit in front of BAER slotted & drilled performance disc brakes on all 4 corners of the car. If the disc brakes weren’t enough stopping power the car has been equipped with a hydroboost braking system that bypasses the use of a vacuum and uses pressure from the power steering pump to give you all the assistances you need to bring all 700HP to a halt! The car has too many parts to list & has a lot of documentation that goes with the car. Including the original build sheet for the car, pictures of Chip Foose signing the car, more receipts than you can count, & much more. This one is a real beauty and would be a dream to own for any enthusiasts or collector.
